The Red Palace of Gulbene was built in the Neo-Gothic style as the manor house of Vecgulbene Manor. Today, having maintained its fiery red-brick façade, it adds to the offer of creative activities and exhibitions of Gulbene District History and Art Museum. The arts and history projects of the Red Palace are diverse – from a modern metal art exhibition up in the cosy garret to the weaving of lace in the blossom-drenched courtyard, which blends creativity with tradition. And then, when a quiet evening has closed the palace doors for visitors, you can enjoy a leisurely cup of tea at a wrought iron table with spectacular views of the Rudolf Park.
