Bulduri Exhibition House or BEX has been a sister site of the Jūrmala City Museum since 2018. Before that, it functioned as the House of Artists. In 2018, the former studio of artist Valdis Bušs was opened to the public on the second floor of the building. In 2012, Angese Bule became the director of the facility. Since then, the conceptual frameworks of BEX exhibitions have been developed in cooperation with RAD-DAR Creators, which has lifted the artistic quality of BEX exhibitions and events.

Since 2012, BEX has been organising the annual juried exhibition dedicated to Latvia’s independence “YES/NOdependence”. Exhibition-campaign-raffle “Jest of the Year”, which opens every year on April Fools’ Day, has grown into an annual and widely popular tradition. Since 2013, BEX has been participating in the Long Night of Museums.
