Ontons Slišāns Cultural History Museum of Upītes is located 3 km from the Russian border. Through his activity, Ontons shaped the cultural space of Upītes as we know it. Our museum is the story of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage found in the cultural space of Upītes and told through the prism of values espoused by Ontons Slišāns. Visitors can choose from a range of open-air activities and workshops to learn about local non-material culture.
