Rīga Stradiņš University (formerly – Rīga Medical Institute (1950-1990), Medical Academy of Latvia (1990-2002) Museum collects tangible and intangible historical evidence about the university. The collection illuminates the diverse history of academic and social life in one of Latvia's leading universities in the fields of medicine, health care and social sciences as well as highlights some key figures associated with the school. The museum’s permanent display is available for public viewing at 16 Dzirciema Street, Rīga. Meanwhile, with advance booking, researchers can access the collection stored at 26a Anniņmuižas Boulevard. You are also welcome to visit our virtual site!
