Museum of Ziedonis in Murjāņi is open to the public every year from the beginning of June to the end of September. The museum complex consists of an authentic summer house built in  20th century 70s as well as a barn and garden area of Imants Ziedonis and Ausma Kantāne. In 2023 an adventure house of dog Funs was created, it is aimed for children.

In the off-season, the museum operates in an office in Riga and creates content in various parts of Latvia and in various formats - conducting exploratory hikes, documentaries, animated films "Dog Funs and the world" for children, creating exhibitions and publishing books. In cooperation with the "Viegli" foundation's educational initiative "Ziedoņa klase", the museum offers rich museum-pedagogical content for students.
