The sister site of the Rojas Sea Fishing Museum was established in 2018. The historical building has a creative classroom for activities aimed at the conservation and promotion of local culinary heritage. In addition, it offers an informative exhibition about the history of the village of Kaltene and the club building and serves as an open-storage facility for historical evidence about 20th-century fishing traditions on the Northern coast of Courland. Groups of tourists can explore the historical building, visit one of Latvia’s few open-storage collection facilities, attend a thematic master class and learn to cook delicious fish soup according to old local traditions as well as take a guided tour around the old fishing village.
