The museum’s painting collection is available in a virtual display “Tukums Museum through the Lens of Time”. Visitors are invited to make a customised digital postcard from painting fragments and send it in a surprise email. The museum organises exhibitions of Latvian modern art, highlighting the artists represented in the collection in terms of their creativity and preferred themes. With advance booking, you can visit the storage facility of the art collection, which contains more than 500 paintings and around 200 prints. The museum not only offers its visitors to deepen their knowledge of art, but also encourages their creativity through a collective programme “We Copy Paintings”.
